In this talk dendrite development is investigated using computational analysis of time-lapsed 3D images. It will reveal dynamic features that not possible with static imaging and describe how close-loop structures are biologically relevant especially during development.

Further Ing-Esteves discuss how data structures can obscure biological phenomena biasing interpretation and the need for an open sourced file type that allows closed-loops.
